Hello All Illinois Youth!!

We had a fabulous meeting yesterday in Bloomington.  A total of 14 youth attended!!

First, we discussed the silent auction.  We raised a total of $2,826.00!!!!!!!  Way to go!  There is still more work to be done to ensure that we have enough money to send our team to the World Show.  We are still selling Colt raffle tickets.  If you do not have any tickets, please contact Julie Bushue. 

We are also going to order a new fund raising item:  drink cozies!  We will have 250 available for the Horse Fair.  These cozies will be sold on a trial basis, and depending on how well they sell, we may order more for the rest of the show season.  The cozies will be available after the horse fair for purchase for $3 each.  They are navy blue with the Illinois Paint Horse Assoc. logo in Illini orange printed on the side. 

Another fundraiser that we will have are IjPHC and IPHA vehicle window decals.  The IPHA decals are available for purchase now, for $10 each, and the IjPHC decals will be available soon at a price of $8.  The IjPHC decals come with a personalization option that can be added for an additional $2.  We will let you know when these decals become available.

We spent the majority of the meeting ironing out the World Show team.  We have a lot of the spots filled in, and we will work on completing the list before the first Gordyville show.

Our next meeting will be held MARCH 21, in conjunction with the Adult meeting at 1 PM in TOWANDA, IL.  Further information will be sent out prior to the meeting.  We hope to see you there!
